Visit the Dalton Historical Society
DALTON TOWN SQUARE FAIR...Saturday, July 23, 2011
Come to the center of Dalton on July 23rd for a day-long flea market, silent auction and
chicken barbecue.  Sponsored by the Friends of the Dalton Town Hall, proceeds from
this event help to maintain our beloved 1845 Town Hall, and keep it open for
 year-round use for both public and private functions.

At the Historical Society, in the downstairs area of the Town Hall,
view a slide show of historic photos and see a display on the Civil War,
to commemorate the 150th Anniversary of that event.

If you have any items of interest from the Civil War period,
consider loaning them to the Historical Society for the above display.  
Items such as  photos, uniforms, artifacts, old letters, etc.,
would be wonderful to share with our visitors.
